To answer your question, Yes we eat and drink Dairy. Dairy comes from animals, BUT they dont HARM animals to get it. For a cow if the animal doesnt get milked it uter (sp) will blow up and could Kill the cow. I think personaly that it is ok to eat dairy. A vegan is where people dont eat or drink ANYTHING that comes from a animal.

I eat dairy products but I don't like eggs. I try to avoid things that have eggs cooked in them like certain bakery products, but not I'm not always 100% sure when they do or not. So I might eat them sometimes; especially if I'm at a restaurant or somebody else's house.

-vegetarians may eat dairy products or eggs
its called a Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian, which is the most commnon type of vegetarian
'
-vegans do not eat, drink, wear, or use that has animals in it or harms animals.

just because they are FROM animals doesnt mean they ARE animals, vegetarians do not eat animals, or food with animal parts in them, but milk/dairy products and eggs are not the actual animal, they just come from an animal

I drink soy milk instead of regular milk, I eat cheese sometimes, and I only eat organic cage-free eggs (the chickens get to roam around instead of being cooped up in a tiny cage. They are also not fed any hormones or antibiotics)

I eat range free, organic eggs. They're unfertilized, so it's okay to eat. I eat dairy products that are organic, and don't contain animal rennet. No animal was killed in the process.

sometimes I will eat cheese, like on a pizza, or a grilled cheese sandwich. Eggs have always grossed me out so I don't eat them at all.
I switched to soymilk, tastes way better.
