There used to be a soap called 'Mazon' that had that scent and basic formula, designed for exzema--and another soap called 'Packer's Pine Tar', which also had a shampoo for dandruff and other scalp problems. The soap was also for exzema. I had horrible allergies as a kid, and that's what our doctor had us get...for my itchy hands & feet, also scalp. Used the pine tar stuff and it did help, as I recall. Mazon also made an ointment that absolutely took the weeping-itchy-awfuls away. Maybe there's more modern salves & stuff, but maybe the old remedies still work. Reminder: Don't Scratch!

Since 1878. Excellent for bathing, showering, shaving and shampooing. Many loyal users have been telling us for generations how "wonder"ful it cleans, moisturizes and deodorizes. They have described it as being helpful in treating the scales of Psoriasis, Dandruff, Eczema and other skin irritations. There are no added colors or fragrances to mask the rich brown color and distinctive scent of natural Pine Tar Oil.

I think it's supposed to help itching. However, I've been reading about Herbal therapies and I read that Oregon Grape
is an excellent help for excema. Read about it online, and maybe it would help you.

I've used it on psoriasis, but not eczema.

It might help...but you probably have to try it and see. It kinda stinks when it's on, but it's not too bad after you rinse it. Kind of a campfire smell to it. Leave it on a few minutes, let it do its thing.
