Well there are alot of things you need to think about, like what kind of music your party kids will like, and if you don't have a pool or a spa, set up the video games, and for the girls if your not afraid of a mess give the girls some amo and let them get the guys. Girls aganist guys partys are always great stuff like water ballons and silly string can hit it off, for the food keep it simple chips, dip, veggies, fruit, cake, ice cream, and a bunch of 2 liters. For decore, ballons are cheap and easy and they cover alot of space, the main thing is just turn up the music and let the "kids be kids" most of the time the things that kill a party the most are the parents that make tight schduals and dont just lets the kids chill out, whatever you decide to do make sure they have thier space! Also another great idea if you have a little extra to spend you could always think about a bolwing party this is great because on your part the kids will be safe and loked after without gagging them, and here there is always music and lights most allyes offer a party plan, call and check it out; also something to think about is like sometimes allys will have it on a saturday night most allys have whats called like rockabowl where the ally closes at like 12 or 2 this is great beacause you can give freedom without being to far away, you can even invite the other childrens parents and bowl a game your self, have a beer, dont worry things will go great! Well If its for a boy make the theme spiderman and for a girl dress up theme or bratz and for the food you can have CAKE!!! with doritos and cookies and Pepsi thats great party food oh oh and since theres gonna be a few people there then but some gift bags depends on the theme your having it will be fun!!! trust me.

Pizza is always the best option! Also con queso and candy like jolly rancher suckers.
Just play music and maybe have some movie options and game options. They'll figure things out. They may just want to hang out, or do something like that but if you have a few options they can decide all together.

At thirteen, kids aren't really big on theme parties. Let your young one take the lead and tell you what they want, or if it is a surprise, ask one of their friends to help. That way they'll wind up with a party they love!!

a good idea since it's a good size crowd, for my 16th birthday we did a video scavenger hunt, we had one of the adults write down 10-20 things down on a list and copy it to another and we divided the teams up and gave each one a video camera and went around town video taping eachother finding the things on the list, and example of a couple things would be, road kill, water fall, someone singing the Oscar mayer weiner song while in the meat section of a grocery store..that might be a good idea, you'd have to have two drivers of course to drive the kids around in
