what std's are you more LIKELY to get? like what allli said, condoms aren't 100%, however condoms will reduce the chances of you catching any STD, some STD's are transmitted through skin to skin contact, such as HSV or HPV, so i wouldn't say "more likely" i would say which STDs are you at risk to, even though herpes and hpv can be transmitted through skin to skin contact, condoms do reduce the risk by 60-70%

Condoms are never 100% effective in preventing ANY STD, but they definitely HELP prevent the spread of STDs.

STDs like genital herpes and HPV can be spread by DIRECT skin to skin contact though. So, even if the guy is wearing a condom, it's only covering his penis and not his entire genital area. Just the rubbing back and forth of the genital skin during sex is enough to spread either one of these STDs.

Statistically, if your partner has Genital Herpes, you are about 60% likely to get it, even with a condom which only works 94% of the time.
