Ouch! Okay, I really think you should read this question OUT LOUD and hear what you wrote. If you still don't understand how this question could come across as offensive, I suggest you leave your ethnic foods group and join a group that teaches proper online communication skills.
Ethnic foods are delicious. I am a chef and love, love the foods of other cultures. I find the people of the culture I wish to learn about are very helpful with teaching me not only the food but also great friendships typically develop. We are all so much alike and that includes the foods we eat. They are all the same really, just a few differences here and there. But overall, we are quite the same.
Good luck to you...both with food and communication skills.

Now if it was just ethnic foods you hated, then that is OK,no one is forced to like ,much less eat a given type of food, .But hating people ,well that is bad.Try to get to the bottom of the problem,if it is too much to tackle on your own,get help & soon .Hate comes with a load of other problems ,worst is it can grow on you till you begin to hate the whole world & that can burn one up,seriously.

First , you must ask yourself. Why,why do you hate everyone in ethnic foods group? Is it because their Chinese noodle recipes come out droopy? Or because the huevos rancheros were not ranchero enough for you? Why, why...just ask yourself that question until you come up with a good reason. Until then , might I suggest you post questions in Americana Style cooking. At least there you might find a decent Meatloaf recipe....good luck and hang in there....wink>> ;)

You're so missing out! But if you really want to get into ethnic food, gradually make your way into it, start with what most closely resembles what you normally eat and gradually become more adventurous over time. Don't go for dim sum and order duck tongue offt the bat- that's a sure way to keep yourself turned off ethnic stuff, instead, go for dumplings. (If you were wondering, duck tongue is quite yummy, but not advisable as a first try) You'd be amazed what great foods are out there!

Post your question in Yahoo Society and Culture under the general culture and groups. Maybe people there can help you.

Go eat some ethnic food and ethnic alcohol and get drunk. That will help you get over us ethnic people and leave us to our own fantastic culinary pleasures.

i dont understand who's forcing u to stick to the ethnic foods group. anyone can hate anyone...as they can love also...but there must be a reason. you haven't mentioned any reason,so what do you expect people to answer?
whatever it is, i guess there's no such good reason which makes u "hate" them.

If you hate people in a certain section, why do you go there?
Why don't you go to a section where you like and/or love the people there?
I really don't see any problem (except of course, prejudice).
Have a nice day!
