Its best to keep to a higher protien low white carb diet. our bodies even a diebetics can not run on protirn or now protien alone. as a diebetic/hypoglycimic (low blood sugar) I know there are good carbs and bad carbs. The good carbs are carbs that would hold out blood sugar normal for longer periods of time. these foods are whole wheats (the packaging must say whole wheat), some wheat breads are not whole. just partial wheat, brown rices, low glycimic foods, most fruits and vegtables, along with protien with each erving of a carb. Oats (oatmeal), Nuts help steady bloodsugar, also testing your sugar every 3 hours to 4 hours. eating a small snack about 200-300 calories 5-6 x a day will keep blood sugar stable, say a piece of fruit, and a small handful of nuts, or a slice of whole wheat bread and a tablespoon of peanut butter, Rice with some beans is a good low glycimac index food, add whatever spices you like. oatmeal with raisens or a few drizzles of honey.
hope this helps

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.
Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

I always carry some nuts or peanut butter with crackers just in case mine starts to dip during the day. You could also try the Glucerna brand products. They make granola bars and shakes that are intended to help diabetics maintain their blood sugar at healthy levels.

Well chocolate will raise that blood sugar, and orange juice. Always make sure to regulate the intake and watch your blood sugar levels, you wouldn't want to lose a foot now.

if you are already low then i suggest things with high levels of sugar such as candy, soda, or orange juice. if your number is not yet low but you want to keep it from getting low then i suggest either pizza or pasta. Hope this is helpful

Definately slow carbs such as steel cut oat meal
and whole grain wheat. The fast carbs are like sugar/ Your body eats lasagna but says "Twinkie". Go for slow carbs.
