Read this in two parts depending on your diagnosis--

1. Have you been diagnosed ADHD? and Are you a young person? If you meant that you are taking Adderol and it didn't help then I understand your question more clearly.
The supplements suggested for ADHD include:
fatty acids-- Omega 3 fats
zinc
amino acids
Vit A,C,E
Grape seed extract

If you post this on the alternative medicine board you will get more help too.
That said, I am not sure that ADHD should even be acknowledged or treated. It's ok for young boys to act like young boys all full of energy and unable to sit still. God made them that way. Schools just don't like it and have turned it into a disease when it is normal. You are ok just being you. You don't have to be better for someone else.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
part 2. Have you been diagnosed as schizophrenic? You didn't give your age, but I assume you are under 30? The medications don't always work, and yes you should see your doctor again for adjustment. There have been suggestions that supplements of Omega 3 fats might help and ginko and quercetin.
I don't know a lot about alternative medicines, but if you ask this on the alternative medicine board you will get more help.

You do have to work with a doctor for this. It is for your own safety and that of the public. Schizophrenia is dangerous not only to you, but those around you. You must be under a doctor's care

You could just have a very active brain. Are you very anxious? Does your mind go over things again and again for no reason? You may have a compulsive/obsessive disorder or anxiety complex. As far as relaxing with herbal means, I would recommend a general multivitimin, but add fish oil/omega 3 capsules to it. You may also want to consider St. John's Wort, which mellows you out quite a bit, is not toxic or habit forming.

If you really believe your brain is talking to you then you don't need a pill. You need to see your doctor first, tell him this, then he may send you to another special doctor who will be interested in seeing you.
