With all these ?'s about global warming, it seems to me that some people really don't know what they are talking about. When I was in school in the 70's-80's we were all being taught that we were headed for another ice age. Now people are saying that the globe is getting warmer. Seeing as that temperature records have only been recorded for about 120 years it really seems we really don't know a darn thing about the true global atmosphere as far as the temp. goes. The world has always gone through changes, warming and then cooling, over and over again. Just because we might be in a warming period for a few years, is there really reason for concern? If we were getting cooler would there be the same concern? I'm sure that certain people would try to make a name for themselves then as well. Do you recycle? Recycling always costs more in energy than than using a virgin product. Why do it? It doesn't help anything, in fact due to the cost it hurts more. Why bother?

Recycling doesn't always cost more. It costs a LOT less to melt down aluminum cans than to mine aluminum ore and smelt it.

As far as global warming, it is hard to predict weather, but if there was something we could do to prevent widespread flooding and destruction shouldn't we do it?

Witch Hunt, you couldn't have said it better.
When this is over then somebody will come up with something new to drive people nuts.

Just like way back when, when the earth was flat and everybody had to believe it, or else.
