I've never had Morningstar's products, but I really like Boca's vegan "chicken" patty. Tastes like a normal one to me. I also really enjoyed Boca's fake buffalo wings ... but I can't eat them anymore ... let's just say my stomach was NOT HAPPY! They are extremely spicy. I have a strong stomach and it couldn't take those suckers!

I dislike the taste of some of the meat substitutes plain, but I like the Morning Star Chik'n Nuggets with Chinese-style spicy mustard. I imagine yellow mustard might taste good on them as well. Actually, once I had them with some leftover onion ring sauce packets from Burger King and it was REALLY good.

I don't like the veggie burgers at Burger King either (ironic that I'm mentioning Burger King twice in one answer because I only go there when forced) because they freeze them for too long and then heat them up right before you order them. Try Boca Burgers or Morningstar black bean burgers instead. Just make sure you have the right kind of condiments and toppings to flavor it up because they never taste exactly like meat. It's a bit of an acquired taste. :)

Don't even bother with the veggie burgers at BK and McD's! Chik'n nuggets are great. You can't go wrong with Morningstar products. I stopped being a vegetarian about 5 years ago, but I still buy their products all of the time because they're so good (I just had some of their breakfast links this morning, as a matter of fact).

We used to eat a lot of Morningstar but we don't use analogs very often these days. Also, I try to avoid eggs, which the chik'n nuggets contain.
I've never tried the BK burger but have noticed a huge variation in the quality of veggie burgers-- some are fine, others are horrible. I prefer the ones that don't even *try* to taste like meat.

Morningstar products are really lovely!! They taste nice and I think they do the best "chicken" out of all the fakes.

Morningstar... usually puts egg whites in its products...AND... a ton of sodium... I usually don't like any of their products... If you have a Whole Foods or an independent health food store near you, you'll find a much larger and tastier variety of foods...

They remind me in texture of a McDonalds Chicken nugget. I have been buying them and taking them out of the package and serving them to my daughter for a long time and she loves them (we are not vegetarians, but they are healthier for her than most real nuggets).
