It depend es what you really want to know when you ask that question.For example sex defines if a child is a male or a female. Having sex with somebody is when you are having intercourse with your partner. Sex appeal is when a woman is sexy. Please try to be more explicit.

hi trishya i don't agree with last answercoz every body should know wat is sex and really telling its a fact that everybody should know where x,and y intercourse and z will born take some advice from ur book may be u should try library
