Soap can make you itchier, especially if you are not rinsing completely. You might want to gently wipe yourself with a natural cleansing agent. A good one is Tea Tree oil. It is available at drug stores and even Walmart. If you want to have this on hand for cleansing wounds and other breaks in the skin, here is a really easy way to do it. Save a dropper bottle (eg saline nasal spray, or Dristan) Pull off the tip and rinse out the bottle well. Put about 10-20 drops of tea tree oil in the bottle, and top up with cold tap water. Replace the nozzle part of the bottle and mix. When you want to use it, remix, squirt some on a cotton makeup pad, and wipe away. This may sting momentarily, but relief will follow swiftly.
