NEVER fool arond with chest pain. No one is immune from heart problems just because they are 17.

Since you are also having kidney problems, you need to discuss the chest pain with your doctor as soon as possible. Chest pains can be related to some kidney problems, but usually this is in persons a good deal older than you. It is more likely that you are having heartburn or other stomach difficulties. Stomach problems are often related to kidney issues.

at your age, I very much doubt it is heart related. It could be esophageal reflux which mimics heart pain. Remain sitting upright for at least thirty minutes after eating or drinking anything, take some mylanta every hour, and sleep with your heat up on two or three pillows. This will prevent stomach acids from splashing up into the esophagus.

my pain was actually just gas. Now when i get the pain, i just need to move around and burp. However, if this doesn't help, chest pains are dangerous. I would go to the ER if it continues, don't wait for that doc appointment for the kidney.

But don't get paranoid! I found that when i thought about it over and over, I would picture the worse case senario, so try watching tv or something.
