Garlic and black pepper, easy on the salt!

A little lemon juice, oddly enough, sprinkled on the meat or into the ground meat, lends a brightness to the intensity of the taste of liver.

You can't go wrong with onions, slow-cooked to caramelize to brown in the pan. Steamed Brussels sprouts are a great side, too.

garlic, parsley and...at the last minute, 1 tsp butter, 1 tbs of water and a few drops of balsamic vinegar to make a very tasty sauce
