My best friend is HIV positive. The biggest problem is that I want to help him in every way I can but he doesnt know Im aware of it!! He's been taking these set of 5 different pills every day and I got kinda of concerned, but every time I asked him what they were for he'd say "Oh they're vitamins" but to me it seemed too weird to take so many vitamins every day so I wrote down the name of two of them one day he was taking them and when I did my research online..OMG I found out that those pills were for people treating the disesase of HIV. Although theres no cure for it as of today, the pills are supposed to help him fight any possible illness he may catch since hes more vulnerable to any!
Now i feel so awful and I just want to tell him that Im there for him and that I love him more than ever, I can just imagine how he feels, but I dont know what to say or how to say it because I dont want him to feel that I invaded his privacy by investigating on my own?
What should I do?

Have you considered that he knows he has HIV, but he's embarrassed to tell you? He might just be lying about the vitamins.
If he truly doesn't know, you have to tell him so he knows what precautions to take, i.e. safe sex.

If the drugs you describe are antiretroviral drugs for treating HIV, then he would have had to be fully informed about his condiition before the doctor prescribed those drugs. There is no way a doctor will prescribe those without a full discussion whth the patient about his condition, and about the importance of taking the drugs regularly, what symptoms to look for possible side effects, etc. Its illegal for a doctor to prescribe these drugs without having that discussion. So believe me, your friend is fully aware.

You do NOTHING. Do not tell him that you know. That is invasion of privacy and you had absolutely NO right to delve into his life and discover this.
If your friend wants you to know, he'll tell you. Until then, keep your mouth shut and your nose out of other people's business. If he wants your help or advice, he will ask for it. Next time, have a little more consideration for laws of privacy and especially medical laws of confidentiality.

if you want to be a true friend be there for him and dont show pity that.s wrong and dont have no sexual relanship with him with out procution. even condom.s arent safe on this matter . my opion?
