No.
Sex can cause a UTI, but it's not ALWAYS caused by sex. And, since it's not ALWAYS caused by sex, it's NOT considered a STD.
Bacteria that enter the urethra and travel up the urinary tract are the usual cause of urinary tract infections (UTIs). Bacteria that normally live in the large intestine and are present in feces are the most common source of infection. Sexual intercourse may introduce bacteria into the urinary tract, especially in women. Catheters, which are small, flexible tubes inserted into the bladder to allow urine to drain, are a common source of bacterial infection in people who are hospitalized or live in long-term care facilities.

nah it's not an std.. however it can be sexually transmitted. it's easiest for girls to get... the best prevention is two things: PLENTY of water, and urinating after sex. sex can cause small tears in the vaginal wall that can collect bacteria. water water water! cranberry juice is also a great urinary tract cleanser. uti's need to be taken seriously and taken to a doctor... otherwise they become kidney infections... which believe me... is WAY WORSE AND EVEN MORE PAINFUL!!!!!

no, it is caused by bacteria in the bladder, which can be due to not drinking enough water or clear fluids. the best thing to do would be to drink plenty of water or cranberry juice to flush out the bladder, you can also get remedys from the chemist. if left alone you can end up with a kidney infection as the bacteria spread, a visit to your GP would be reccommended for a course of antibiotics.
hope this helps

No it isn't and remember if you send an e-mail to someone , they can get yours by reversing it. Be careful.
This is caused by a bacteria that is in the flora family and easily taken care of but, unfortunately it's just as easy to contract due to the length of the urethra tube in women, it harbors the bacteria so, you have to keep as clean as possible and when first signs of this coming about, do something right away, don't wait for it to get out of hand.
