hello... some slut gave me warts about 1 year 1 month ago, They kept commin back and wouldent stop for like 4 months straight, and I had to go on another deployment...was horrable time for me, but after the 4 months of warts they went away...havent had anything from then on.... do I still have it???, can I still pass it?.... 5 years from now can I still pass it??

and you say you can't tell your partner? Doesn't that put you on the same level as who gave it to you?!

You have the HPV virus and for you the warts went away on their own, but you should still see a doctor. If you have unprotected sex you will pass this along and could leave your partner with the chance of becoming sterile or cervical cancer. You don't have that choice of not telling. You have to be a man and own up to the fact that you slept with someone that was the wrong someone and you came down with the HPV virus. You must give your partner the chance to think of her life because it is her life you are playing with by not telling her. You will have this for the rest of your life. There is good news though. Sometimes in some people they will never have an outbreak again. You may be one of them. And there is the new vaccine out there to protect women from this virus and your partner can go and get it. So you see you do have to own up to and tell her, but there are ways to make this relationship work if you want it to. However, if you choose to sleep with her and not tell her the present you are leaving her.... chances are good she will end up having the HPV virus and her chances of cervical cancer just increased 10 fold as well as her future in child bearing years. How does that sound?

Genital/anal warts are with you for life, unfortunately. You are simply not having an outbreak, which is why you don't see them right now. However, you can pass them on even though you're not having an outbreak currently. The best thing for you to do is see your doctor and he/she will give you an anti-viral prescription to help prevent the outbreaks.

yes, you still have it, and yes you can still pass it on. are you taking that pill for it? i can't think of the name, but you should if you aren't, it's a very serious thing, if you care for your partner, or just out of pure courtesy, you need to tell them, an STD is a life-changing thing.

I'd look on here. But I think you can never get rid of them. And I think it can cause cervical cancer in women if they catch it from you. Be very careful and use a condom!
