Okay. So I know the whole thing about "saving the animals."
Thats honestly the stupidest thing ive ever heard, no offense.
But I mean, COME ON.
If we didnt eat animals, the world would be OVER populated SO much with animals that we would have to KILL them for no reason. Would you rather feed starving people with animals, and have meat in your body, which happens to be good for you, or do you want to just KILL them for no reason and have nothing to do with them?
I don't understand. I could see if youre doing it for like, losing weight or somthing. But I don't understand if you do it to save the animals.
Its stupid and useless.

There are 3 reasons why people become vegetarians:
1) Health reasons
2) Cruelty reasons
3) Environmental impact reasons
Whether you believe in any one or all of these reasons, all have positive impacts on your personal health, social health and the environment.
The best book exploring these reasons is "Diet for a New America" by the Baskin-Robbins heir, John Robbins, who blew off the family business and became a food activist.
Being a vegetarian might not be for you - that's okay. However, you will go much farther in life if you practice a little tolerance and understanding towards others, rather than name calling ("stupid/useless")
Good luck!

If people did not eat animals, the world would not be over populated because people would stop breeding them. If animals were able to live natural lives, then they would naturally die by survival of the fittest. Most of the world's grain goes to feeding livestock, so if we didn't have livestock, we would have enough food to feed starving people. Most of the world's drinking water also goes to livestock. Not to mention the large amounts of pollution that raising livestock causes. And meat is not good for you; its full of saturated fat and cholesterol, and there is evidence showing that vegetable proteins, calcium, and other nutrients are more absorbable than the same nutrients found in animal products. The American Dietetic Association says a vegan/vegetarian diet is healthy for all stages of life, including infancy, pregnancy, and adolescence.

I did it because I am so grossed out by eating meat, yuck and yuck again. Just thinking about it makes me want to throw up. I agree with you on the over population of animals but the way that the animals are treated ids discusting, they do not deserve to be abused like that in farms. You should check out peta and see how they are abuse then you would understand more. I am also dont eat meat because it is so unhelathy.

Um the population of animals were just fine before humans existed.
Your argument is the stupidest thing ive ever heard. Mother nature will take care of overpopulation. Carnivores will kill some of the animals, the world will be just fine.

thanks for posting this, thanks for the laugh.
you sound so uneducated and clueless.
why do people eat meat?
I'll tell you why I don't: for a better health, a better environment, for the animals (because I'm a good person, I have a heart).
and congratulations what you posted is the dumbest thing I've ever heard, actually I've heard it all before but still doesn't make it any less humorous.

Yeah. Just imagine the world a million years ago. It's a good thing humans were there to keep the cow population they were farming in check!

Why do you care so much anyway?
