Please tell me how this is pronounced? Somebody at work said it's like General "T-Sauce". I may be stupid but i'm not that stupid.

Well, you can pronounce it anyway you like but as long as there is a "General" with it, you got it! Basically this speciality was created a few centuries ago by the son-in law of the general. He was a good chef but this dochebag screwed her daughter and thry got married. To save face, the chinese general accepted him in the family and made him the second left guy in his force. That is the direct translation of General Tso's Chicken - (Jor Joong Gai - in Chinese) Means - Left Hand Man. This guy however is not a fighter but a lover so they live happily forever until the General choke from the bone of the chicken he prepared. Too bad! He was having a wonderful time with the general's daughter when he called that he was hungry

well general should be easy, Tso hmm like the way the first part of the word ouch you know the ou part but with an s at the begining...if that makes any sense, Damn you made me work for them 2pts lol

Think of the blue haired women who eat it after a church meeting, nodding at each other with their rippling multiple chins... and it gets easier to remember the pronunciation------
