I think that shouldn't create any problem. They say 12hrs fasting but +1 or -1 hour shouldn't cause any major change in reading.
However, the PP (after consuming food or glucose) should not vary by more than 30 minutes (+ or -)

That's the idea of fasting. I've never liked the testing cause it throws me off my schedule. It's more important to get those tests done to be sure there isn't any damage to your body. I'm assuming you are diabetic and are taking all the preventive medicine. If you are just getting tested for the first time, here's some free advice. If your doctor tells you you can control your sugar with diet, do it. The disease is progressive and will eventually cause great damage to your body. Please realize just how serious diabetes is and start controlling your eating even if you are just suspicious of being diabetic. Read all the books and start controlling yourself. You will live a much nicer and much longer life. That's my sermon for today. I hope everything is OK. Still, watch yourself. Get Dr. Sears book on eating balanced and how food affects your body and it helps with prediabetic info. If I had known long, long ago what I know now, I wouldn't be in the shape I am today. The insulin imbalance starts working on your body long before you're full blown diabetic. You can fight it and stave it off if you are very careful.

Yes,it should be valid. There is a general notion of a 12 hour period of not eating.Drinking anything that has calories in it will break the fast too.Watch it,it is easy to do that.
You should be fine or you can always add that next hour and start at 9 PM.

Yes. That is almost a 12 hour period, 11 to be exact. You should have no problems as long as you don't drink anything except water, black coffee or unsweetened tea.

Fasting means not eating or drinking, I beleive you are allowed small sips of water and thats it. Your doctor should have explained all that to you.
