Useful is a strange word. It was convenient to deflect violence from America's shores. This is why we were there, are there and no other reason. We now have opened pandoras box. So now we do not wish to be responsible for what we need to do in order to assist this democracy we have suppossedly created. We have created confusion, distrust and need to assist in a humanitarian method to change the ideology of extremists, as they are called. We need to start solar energy projects in Iraq along with some factories to take some of the air quality and distribute it more effectively and create a civilization for these persons to survive with a paycheck every week. We may see a change of atitude when they are effected in a positive manner. Bombs are not the only answer.

The war has not been useful in any positive manner at all. If anything, the only results have been completely negative. One can only imagine all the lives that would have been spared and the money that could have been used in some productive manner for the people of this country. It is very sad!

Yes - I don't want to worry about more bombings in the US or fighting here! Iraq has been a war zone with Sadam there (His unnecessary gassing of citizens, etc.) and the US under almost every President have went to some country to assist with Humanitarian relief! During those smaller scale missions, soldiers died! But, why wasn't everyone protesting those Presidents?

Just a note to think about: Tony Blair isn't in office anymore and already a bombing in their country???? Coincidence???
