People often worry too much about having a bowel movement every day. There is no right number of daily or weekly bowel movements. Being regular is different for each person. For some people, it can mean bowel movements twice a day. For others, movements just three times a week are normal.
Questions to Ask
Some doctors suggest asking these questions to decide if you are constipated:
Do you often have fewer than three bowel movements a week?
Do you often have a hard time passing stools?
Are stools often lumpy or hard?
Do you have a feeling of being blocked or of not having fully emptied your bowel?
Did you answer “yes” to one or more of these questions? If so, you may have a constipation problem. Otherwise, you probably do not.
What Causes Constipation?
Doctors do not always know what causes constipation. It may be a poor diet, not getting enough exercise, or using laxatives too often.
Diet. People may become constipated if they do not eat enough high-fiber foods like vegetables, fruits, and whole grains. Some research shows that high-fiber diets can help prevent constipation. Eating a lot of high-fat meats, dairy products and eggs, or rich desserts and sugary sweets also may cause constipation.
People who live alone sometimes lose interest in cooking and eating. As a result, they start using a lot of prepared foods. These foods tend to be low in fiber and may lead to constipation. In addition, if you have bad teeth, you may tend to choose soft, processed foods that contain small amounts of fiber.
People sometimes do not drink enough water and other fluids. This often is true when they are not eating regular meals. But water and other liquids may help some people stay regular
To have regular elimination problems- you should eat more vegetables and fruits which are rich in roughage. There is a fad about colon cleansing. which removes the impurities in our body system. . It can also help you lose weight. if overweight is a problem. Plus, a good general cleansing gives one a positive frame of mind and good bowel health.
There is a truth to the saying,"we are what we eat!" A lot of our health issues stem from the problem of the junk food that we put in our system. That's why it's impt to develop a healthy habit of regular BM.
Excessive milk ingestion, insufficient amount of fluids and inadequate intake of bulk-forming foods are common causes of constipation. Other potential causes include poor bowel habits, laxative misuse or underlying medical conditions. such as Stroke ;Diabetes and IBS.. Medications that are commonly associated with constipation include; analgesics, anticholinergics, calcium channel blockers and stomach preparations containing aluminum and calcium. Some antidepressants and diuretics are known to cause
constipation.
The reason why health care professionals are concerned about constipation is not because of toxicity, but because it is a problem that can worsen if not addressed. Water and nutrients are mainly absorbed in both the small and large intestines. The longer the stool remains in the intestines, the more water and nutrients are absorbed from the stool into the body. When a lot of water is absorbed from the stool in the large intestines, the stool becomes hard and difficult to pass. This can just worsen the situation. Therefore the goal is to have a constipated person experience a soft bowel movement on a regular basis.
Chronic constipation can have a very significant impact on a patient’s overall health. It may lead to colonrectal .cancers and hemorrhoids. A short term questionnaire given to patients demonstrated that physical functioning, vitality, social functioning, mental health, perception of health and pain scores were worse for patients that suffered from constipation.
Regular bowel movement prevents you from having a sh@tty outlook in life.

Normal frequency of BM is considered to be from 3 to 14 times a week. If you have your present bowel habit since long and you don't have any problem, it is OK. But any recent change or other thing should allert you to get it checked up.
Good luck!

Everyday bowel movement is a MUST! Because if you will delay it to 2-5 days you will be poisoned. Just observe. If you will not remove it from your body, your fart would be to hard to smell ;) Besides, you will have poor blood circulation. Don't be lazy to make it a habit to move your bowel everyday, ok?
Have a nice day :)
