I am going on a flight from Australia to Greece. Its 25 hours all up with a stop in Dubai. Any ideas on how to keep myself entertained? Or any ideas on what I should take on the flight with me?

A couple good books.
A crossword book
A portable DVD player (if it won't be a burden later)
SLIPPERS!!! (and maybe a neck pillow)
A Book to brush up on your greek?
Bathroom Items
Dubai, has a very nice airport, Maybe you can see Burj Dubai (the world's new tallest building)

Things to read, things to listen to, and things to do, such as crafts or games, crossword puzzles, cards. Pick the kinds of things you enjoy doing while sitting. For 25 hours I would be sure to include several things for entertainment. There will probably be inflight movies too.
I always like to take some "airplane" food with me too. Some salty, some sweet, preferably not easily crushable. Be sure to check with the airline about what is acceptable since the rules seem to be quite moveable!

well i'm not sure how international flights work, but when i flew from california to new york i took wood knitting needles with me and made a hat on the flight. haha. other than that, books, crosswords, music, and make sure you take a water-mister with you to keep your face moisturized during the flight. just a little tip. otherwise you'll come out looking like you've been drying out in the sun, but without the redness.

but i think in such cases the plane stuff provides some entertaining services so you shouldn't worry about it.
