Jesus was a pious human, by nature and never claimed to be some extra special.
He did good and preached simple good living.
But these people went to make some ultra psyche out of him , and created a fake story mixing and adding every thing available from different corners and ruined it.
May be for some political reason, or they were desperate to bring people under control. As it always happens, I guess they were politicians, who screwed it all.
result is that we have something like bible which is a big glitch book, with glitches and self contradictions everywhere. Off course they were not god at copying and mixing things too, were they ? ... lol

nobody "twisted" it .. they just renamed some older stories! ... Jesus is something like a light-motive to tie those stories together ... a bit everywhere, but besides the point!

Lot's of different people. And that would make it a big coincidence that they all "twisted" it in very similar ways...which suggests they didn't actually change it all that much, and it happened as you hear it now.

Whoever wrote the Bible. How did Moses lead the Israelites out of the Desert, if Israel wasn't formed until 1948.
