I am an atheist and I truely look down on Chrisitianity.
I know that it is Christians mission to convert every singel human into a Chrisitian. If you think you got what it takes to convert me then try. First of all don't tell me to have faith; whatever prayers I do might just be coincidences if they are answered. Praying or not makes no difference as some problems are solved and some not solved, likewise God answering sometimes and not sometimes. Don't tell me to read the Bible; the fact that God created light before the sun is already enough to disprove the Bible. Don't tell me to read the Bible metaphorically since then you can make the context to be whatever you can imagine. Don't tell me to get a relationship with God and that I can feel him. In fact I can feel my dogs spirit and soul more than of an illusionary being. Don't tell me Jesus died for our sins and he forgives me. I have done nothing sinful and I don't need his forgiveness.

It is not the Christian's duty to convert people. From what I see, the duty is to present the gospel and let God. Those who reject God will not find Him and those who want to find Him will find Him.

From the moment we first hear of God, we're torn between two compelling emotions. The idea of our Creator loving us and wanting us to be part of His family is enormously attractive but God the Father of love is also God the Father of authority. The thought of a God who constantly looks over our shoulder is enormously repelling. We would prefer to have God like a kindly grandfather who gives us candy and then we go do whatever we like.

Without God, we have no purpose in life. Here is a quote from the atheist Bertram Russell:

“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell

Without purpose, our lives have no meaning. Without meaning, we would live pointless lives. While this is not a reason to believe in God, it ought to drive us to seek Him. So many don't because they hate the idea of a God in authority over them.

your tired of Christians being hypocrites and your anger shows,,Do you realy need an answer from the Lord yet you hate the idea that you have to crawl on your knees to this God??? Then you realy don't know who God and Jesus are I was where you are 16yrs ago and it ticked me off to no end,,that I saw people say they where Christians and acted like jerks,,If you want, you can find the Lord or you can keep being angry and bitter,,We as Christians have faults yet God still loves us even when we know we have all these faults,,know thats true love...... The choice is yours were here to tell you about a God / Jesus that is perfect and has all the answers and is perfect...Jesus say its our privilage to tell about the Good News: that you can be saved, the rest is up to you, bitter or better,,you make that choice for your self,,,as for me I wanted better and I found it ,,do people fail me yes all the time has God failed me No,,do i get everything how i want and when i want NO yet Jesus loves me and knowing that i am loved and excepted makes it all worth it,,you have come to that cross road and i can't make you do anything and you will live with the choice's that you make..
I call heaven and earth to wittness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live nad your decendants by loving the Lord your God by obeying His voice and holding fast to Him.(deuteronomy 30:19-20)

It's a Christians duty to try and spread God's word. You've obviously read the Bible before, since you have all these ideas about it, and you've obviously thought about the issue, and decided there is no God. So you've made your choice.

I still think it would be better for you in the long run, but that's just me. i could be wrong, and i freely accept that. And i do hope that one day you'll realise there has to be something higher than yourself...and if you opened your mind to it, you could see that having God in your life makes it better.

But since you already "truly look down on Christianity" and have such pre-conceived ideas about it, as much as i'd love someone else to follow God, it's probably far more important for Christians to spread God's word to those people who've never had the chance to hear it before, than those who have had plenty of chance and do not take it.

But i hope, one day, you'll reconsider, and you'll see that prayer works, and life is more than a coincidence, and there is value in the Bible. So good luck.

It is not "my" job as a Christian to convert you. I can tell you many wonderful truths about how God has blessed me and my family. I can tell you how my generous giving has blessed me. In other words, my life is a open example of being a Christian.

The decision to chose God is a personal choice each of us makes. A lot of non-believers shy from Christianity because of all the "don't do this and do it this way" religious boundaries and God never intended salvation to be something dreaded.

Okay I think you just need to have faith, read the Bible, then read it metaphorically afterwards. Next, get in a relationship with God so you can feel him. And remember, Jesus died for your sins.

Can't help ya'. The prerequisite to conversion is the realization that God IS. No intellectual conversation can do that - you can't grasp even the concept of God, because He doesn't make sense to you.

The natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Trying to convert you would be casting pearls before swine. (I'm not calling you a pig - it's a Bible thing.)

Hi, do you feel wrong at all when you miss it? Do battle in between opinions and choices and get confused? Have you really wondered why nothing you tried to do was able to erase a source of worry whether drinking, smoking, sexual intercourse, partying, drugging yourself etc as when these effects wane, you problem stands before you? Have tried to drain the whole water from the ocean before? Have you tried to trap the wind using a trap? There is a difference between animate life and spiritual life. Consider this and ask yourself why you are afraid somtime!

You say that you have done nothing wrong. According to who? According to what you think is right or what God does? My belief in God does not make Him real. Your disbelief does not make Him go away. The afterlife does not completely hinge on what we believe or not. What matters is what is truth. So, if you stand before God and are guilty of breaking His laws, you will be judged accordingly. I will be guilty too. However, I have accepted the fine paid by Jesus Christ on my behalf. You won't be able to stand before God and say, "I was a good person" or "I don't believe in you or your laws."

I can't convert you to anything and it is not my responsibility to do so. That is between you and God. I can only tell you of the testimony that I have that He lives!
I do not judge you for it is not my place to do so but for you to make the claim of having done nothing sinful is can only question you as to what do you call sinful? There are sins of omission as well as comission. But by declaring your self an atheist, I submit that you are in violation of the first commandment.

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
