There will always be chaos and peace, and their relationship will always be strong, because that is what creates the balance in this Universe. Why, John, does it have to be a spiritual war that enforces this relationship? There truly is more to life than just religion.

The Harry Potter books have a sardonic attraction which is why they are so successful. Paradigms and shifting parallels have just enough of the real world and then out into fantasy land. Maybe we are in a spiritual war and most people have chosen sides. Certainly there is peace and chaos. Wow! What a question to wake up to.

Well, that's something you share with Osama bin Laden then. Just remember that you probably have different definitions of "peace", and if you don't, then someone else does.

No war ever produced a positive outcome.

I saw that movie, dude. It was awesome.

But try living in the world as it is, sometime. Maybe without the alcohol. It's hard, but well... this is the life you have. Why miss out on it?

What do you mean "I WISH this world was just a giant spiritual war?

It IS.

We HAVE chosen sides!! The problem is, the movers and shakers in the spiritual arena ARE THE FANATICS. Most of the rest of us are just dodging the flak.

And let me tell you Mr. Constantine, you can thank your great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, grandfather -- Emperor Constantine, for this mess . . . he's the one who made the fledgling religion, Christianity, the state religion of the Roman Empire.

Sides are not decided for the most part by choice, just as ignorance and ******-upedness was probably not yours by choice.
