The jewish God is the same and only true God. i dont know wath gelfiling is talking about but God didnt create hell for anyone but satan and his demons; we go to hell by rejecting the sacrifice His son made to redeem us from sin. a salvation for humanity that started since the Old testament from the pact with abraham

Single Eye has pegged it.
How else could we go from "eye for eye" to "love your enemies"?
Without referencing the Gnostic Gospels consider this, a few people "Saw" God or were in the presence of God in the old testament, but Jesus said that no one had ever seen the Father except the Son. Notice also that Jesus never refers to this unseen Father as Yahweh even once.

The universe isn't stranger than we imagine it's stranger than we can imagine.

Yep- Jews believe in a single, indivisible God that is loving and would never sentence anyone to eternal torment, would never change his mind or make mistakes and would never behave like the polytheistic deities that ran around fathering children on human women. Chrisitianity, on the other hand, believes in a three in one deity, opposed by another deity (if Satan can go against God he must have divine power)- their God is vindictive- sentencing people to eternal torment because they don't want to worship him in a single prescribed way, makes mistakes (the law he gave to Moses was "too hard"- question has to be- then why did he ever give it?), changes his mind (abrogates his old covenant for a new one) and becomes anthropomorphic enough to have children!

Edit: Ruchjat your information is completely wrong. Jews don't call anyone the son of God- to us, God manifesting and creating a physical heir is blaspehmous and polytheistic- whoever told you otherwise is very badly misinformed!

Yes in line with islamic teaching the God of jews called yahweh and the God of christians is the same with Allah as the only one God of muslims.God has given Moses prophet 10 commandements and Torach as life guide. But jews do not acknowledge Jesus and Muhammad pbuh as messenger s of Allah (God).Jews acknowledgeUzair prophet as the son of Yahweh.
God has given Jesus the new life guide for jews that is Bible but christians treat Jesus as son of God too and do not acknowledge Muhammad pbuh as the last prophet with holy
Qur'an as the newest life guide for all humans from Allah the only one God.
The 3 religons basically is monotheism but in the 2 religions God has a son and in Islam God has no son and no ally at all..
Since Adam and Abraham before Moses and his Torah and Jesus and his Bible, they knew that God was only one,and no ally. The followers treated Uzair and Jesus as the son of God.

The one and same God. God has many names based on His provision, His healing power, His presence. Some refer to Him as Jehovah and some Yahweh.

Some scholars believe that historically the old testament could possibly be refering to several different gods all concieved as God at some point in time.

No, followers of Christ today believe in the God of the bible which includes the old testament the problem lies in Jesus which some Jews rejected because they could not see that he was the messiah but many Jews believed in Jesus who is God incarnate and became the first Christians and what we call the followers of Christ or Christians.

As different as night and day, black and white, or good and evil. Jesus makes it crystal clear in The Apocryphon of John that the god of the o.t. is satan. That is why he does not exhibit any of the fruits of the spirit and why he does not resemble Jesus in any way whatsoever. Be smart and think for yourself. Would God, after seeing that Adam could not obey one rule, proceed to give the Jews dozens of rules that even he does not obey, and threaten them with dire consequences for non-compliance? You and I are smarter than that don't you think? Think about how indecisive and insecure the god of the o.t. is. Reminds me of the wizard of oz.

Yes. The Jewish God didn't create an eternal torture chamber, or conspire to have his own kid beaten and killed so to appease himself and save his followers from himself.
