I wasn't taught wheater or not to like someone because of religion. I just assumed to be friends with who you want to be with. Comming on Y!A was the first time I ever EXPERIENCED someone being hated for religious beliefs.

Yeah even I was surprised to read some of the many rude and disrespectful remarks made here for some religions.
And yes ...humanity is beyond religion.You are right in sayiing that liking someone doesnt depend on religion.All that needs are good moral values..
What we need today is to stand up for the cause of humanity and love.

I agree. I choose to like or dislike a person because of who that person is, not what they believe. I've been friends with people who's religious beliefs were vastly different than mine, and atheists, and agnostics. Some friendships lasted, some didn't. But it wasn't religion that kept the one, nor lost the other.

We don't hate each other because of religion. We annoy each other with childish behavior and it gets out of hand all the time.

True Christians are to be peaceable with all people with mild answers given with deep respect. There is not much of that here. It does exist though.
Jesus warned his followers would be hated for following him so we are used to it.
