I want to be volunteer for Salvation Army in Oakland, CA. Did anyone who work/worked there before? I didn't go to Salvation Army and ask for require to help because I have lots of questions about this volunteer job. Usually, how many work hours per week? I need to go to school and have a part time job, I am afraid I don't have enought time to work for Salvation Army. Could you share your experience with me? THANK YOU!

The Salvation Army runs a church and huge social services.
They would be glad to talk to you, and if you prefer not to volunteer with them after the discussion, no-one will give you a hard time.
Just a thought, some of the volunteer work is seasonal, like the Christmas time activities.

i'm making plans to volunteer for them too. nonetheless they seem to be a extra non secular enterprise, what they are doing isn't incorrect. they are assisting people, and that's what i prefer to do too. once you're nevertheless to "ecck," there is often extra locations to volunteer that are basically like the Salvation military. around me, I even have Scott's challenge, sturdy Sheppard etc.

No truth about it.Their is no army for salvation. Not biblical either.
