Really the whole idea behind relationships being the same and therefore predictiable is BS. It takes two INDIVIDUALS to make an INDIVIDAUL relationship which means there is no telling whats going to happen at any give point. People like to come up with this stuff when they talk about marriage. Its 1 year, 3 years, 5, 7 then 15. This is only because of the fact that there are certain... constant factors you have to make it thru if the marriage is going the classical direction (you got married because of kiddos) Frist year typically a lot of change, new baby, someone working all the time, someone not getting enough attention, etc. 3-5 years depending on the kiddos is the time they start school leaving someone home alone with out any kiddos for the frist time in a long time and in need of something, anything to do, which sometime is think about how sucky the marriage is. Then the 7-15 is the time again dependent on the kiddos, when they hit the preteen-teenage, pre-adult stage, very, very stressful on the whole family and if the parents havn't figured out how to deal with each other and accept that there not just their for the kids, well divorce time. But as you can see it was the process of raising the kiddos which was the shard value acrossed the board, but the variable too is that each set of parents is two indivdauls coming together to make a union, its how this works, or doesn't work that determines what point your at in the relationship, which to be quite frank and honest doesn't matter in todays society. Hence the horrible, horrible divorce rate. But your off to a good start! let him be him, let you be you, and let it flow.....
