i'm a teenager and hav always been tought to open the door for girls and like let the girls go first and stuff like that. do u think that this is important and should continue to do so??
When i do it only older people seem to notice and say thanx.....is it uncool to do this when im a teenager??

No its very very cool! Girls looooooove that stuff. You are just being a gentleman, and I think not enough guys are. If you are embarassed just wait cuz if you keep it up you are gonna have girls lining up the block to be with a nice guy like you! Don't stop!!

No it isn't. Manly old people notice it because they grew up around that time, but it can also attract a young girl. I mean if I saw you or another doing that I would definately approve and think that maybe he is dating material and if I was in a flirty mood I would come up and ask for your name or something like that.

It is definitely cool, my baby brother does it. He is 3 years old. That is so cute. Maybe the people and girls around are just not noticing because they are to worried about their hair or something like that. But keep on doing it. You are very well mannered and I respect that about you.

It aint who notices, but more that u care enough to do it.

I do it all the time.. It's fine to do, younger people just appreciate it much less, but they don't appreciate much at all.

i do it, and those people who think you are 'unchool' at least you are respectful. i do it to girls and old people that's it though. i'm 13.
