its this guy i know in class, we pretty cool, not quite friends. He allways asks me to be his partner in class, but then again maybe its because i'm pretty smart. I catch him staring at me sometimes. Sometimes i get the feelin hes tryin say something to me but dont get it out. I know u guys will probably say.....maybe he likes you DUH!, but were sooo different. He's the aggressive, clubbin, sex craved, forceful type, me on the the other hand is reserved, shy type. The kinds of girls hes goes out with are hoodrats and sluts. I mean i really dont think i'm his type, so what else is it?

IF you are being honest, then you are doing everything right so far. He may be going out with the sluts but when he gets ready for a long term relationship, he'll want someone like you. He respects you. I know you want more than respect, you want a b/f, and there really are guys out there like him who don't hang out at clubs all the time and go out with only sluts. Believe me, hon, he is not shy and if he has something to say to you, he won't have a problem letting you know. If he should ask you for a date, you should turn him down the first time and say with deep regret that you have already made other plans for that night. Say that you are soooooooo sorry. Don't say, I'm free another night. Don't make it easy for him. Be a challenge. That takes a lot of self-confidence and poise on your part. But it will make him feel like the most powerful guy in the whole wide world if and when you accept his offer the next time. He'll come after you like crazy after that.

It's because he likes you. The type of person is not what he is after. He thinks your attractive and would like to date you and maybe because you are a more reserved person he is going in a more subtle way this time. There is a small chance that he has changed but I wouldn't count on it. Just watch out for him. He doesn't sound like a really nice guy so just be weary of him.

I think you figured this out yourself. He really does kind of like you-- because you're smart-- but if his dates are the hoodrats and sluts, do you really want to be part of his world (as a date)?

My advice: Keep this guy on as a friend (if he seems worth it), but find a guy that really appreciates you as you are and respects you.

He is wondering what sex with a smart, reserved, shy type of girl will be like.

I think he loves you or is begining to love you. You know guys like him like playgirls only for fun.. They go out with them and then dump the girl bt when they really want something serious then they want someone who is shy, good marks, who respct others, good manners which does not mean they want a geek.. they just want a good girl..

It could be a guy who genuinely likes a nice girl, but goes out with the others for status.
