Buddhist / Shinto Japan started a war back on Dec 7, 1941 with an attack on Pearl Harbor
21 Sikhs defending a British outpost killed 4,800 Afghans in the Battle of Saragarhi. There are many stores of Sikh heroism in service of the British army.
Mormons fought two small wars in the 1800s. The Utah War and the Missouri Mormon war.
Hindu India entered the Bangladesh Liberation war in the last century and continues to fight several low intensity wars within its borders

Yes, good question.
I would like to point out, though, that there is a world of difference between being born and brought up in a country which professes a particular religion and actually practising that religion yourself.
America is a Christian country, yet you would not want to judge Christianity, nor America itself, on what happened at Mi Lai.
As a rule, Buddhists and Mormons are peace loving and gentle people. I don't have enough knowledge about the others to have an opinion.

Good questions, I sure can answer about the Mormons. Our religion has Never started a war, and never been in full support of beginning one. Back in the 1800's when mormonism first began, (this is a commonly misdirected understanding), people hated our religion so much (even though there was no reason) that they would form mobs and rave mormon towns and burn the houses and kill the people. So we gathered up a defense force to protect our people, but never with the intention of going to war with the army or anyone. What would you do whwen people raid your town to kill you just because you believe in a man hated by society. I think i've made my point

Sikhs and Mormons have NEVER so far started a war. Buddhists and Hindus NEVER had a war either but they did defend themselves when the Muslims were abusing them.

Hindu-Muslim conflict in Kashmir (Pakistan vs. India). Other than that, good point. It's probably because those religions are naturally introverted, unlike Christian extremists who attempt to recruit followers or Islamic extremists who attempt to kill non-believers.

Actually, while I don't know if "war" is the appropriate term, there are sectarian skirmishes in these religions (excluding Mormons, who are just annoying) all the time.
