I have 45kg dog I want to take into Amman, Jordan - can you tell me if the procedure is difficult on the Jordan side, how much it would cost from the UK, any potential problems etc...?

I'll bet you would have better luck with a useful answer if you post this same question in the "Travel" section of Y! Answers.
Most people who read the "Dogs" section mainly answer questions about caring for dogs. In "Travel" you are more likely to find people who know more about boarding animals internationally.
Good luck.

well its hot for starters, and there are a lot of muslims there who wouldn't appreciate a dog jumping all around and over them. its not too difficult but u need vet certificates to say he has no medical problems, infections etc and u need to pay and fill in some paper work. just be careful though, u wouldnt want your dog to die on travel. try and get your dog some tranqulizers so he wont be as scared.

i live in Jordan, i see many ppl bring their pets with them when they visit Jordan, about cost i think you should contact the airlines, and if there was any additional fees in Amman airport for its entrance i dont think it will be too high

best luck
