What do I do when a girl that is okay looking starts talking to me at the bar? I went up to get a drink, and she was sitting closeby. She started talking to me, saying i have the cutest smile, and then she introduces herself to me. What do I do? I didn't know if i should make small talk with her, because I was maybe halfway interested. I kinda was like, oh thanks, and went back to my friends. But after I thought about it, i wondered if she was hitting on me. By then it was too late because she was talking to some other guy who walked up. I was wondering if i missed out on an opportunity?

I am not a guy, but I am over 21. Sometimes we think a person is alright looking, then when get to know them and their personality starts coming out thet look more attractive to us. Yes, she was hitting on you. Yes you missed an opportunity. Hope I helped!

Was she drunk? If she was that bold and then a minute later she was chatting up another guy - She was drunk and probaby a skank, so in my opinion, the only thing you missed out on was herpes.
And I agree with the girl above - she was probably broke and wanted a drink (that's an old trick)

Dude, you seriously missed out. If a woman says you have the "cutest ______", she is flirting, and she introduced herself... Yeah, she was mackin on ya bro.
Dont feel bad... When I was younger I missed that stuff all the time. Now, I'm married and have to ignore it.

Sounds like you answered your own question. You had your chance but you didn't move on it. That said, the whole point of going to bars is to chat up people of the opposite sex, but it does not nessicarily mean sex or a relationship but I have made some good friends from chatting up girls....

you missed out if she is talking to you she is interested at least wants to get to know you a little next time a girl starts talking stay normally a girl is having to fight of guys and turning everyone down

She was flirting with you because she was annoyed at her boyfriend. It is possible, but less likely, that you missed out.
