Why do you think threatening unbelievers with punishment from the Invisible Sky Bully is going to motivate them when they don't believe in the Invisible Sky Bully in the first place?

Isn't this just a cheap shot for zealots who have run out of good arguments?

I doubt it- missionaries try it with Jews- not realising that Jews don't believe in hell. I suppose itmay have worked against some of the pagans and polytheistic religions where they had a version of Hell- be it Hades or something else- but against people who believe in religions where there is no hell- it seems a tad futile...

REALIZATION.. SANITY.. INTERESTINGNESS...

u must understand what these things WILL be as circumstance...

first the male forms: luck/karma
the female types are: coolness/simultinaety

i can TeLL you about the math behind the origin of reality..
but if people cant even BEGIN to fathom the likelihood of such nonsense, to place it in an aberrant sort of erraticness..

just stop criticizing through pseudo-sarcasm and denying me as a mathematician based on WHAT??

I've never heard it called "turn or burn" but it sounds about right, but as George Carlin says; you should also remember that "he loves you", I guess while one is burning.

The whole dichotomy of this just demonstrates the man made nature of all gods who resemble nothing so much as abusive neglectful parents.

It worked in the dark and middle ages; clearly some people yearn for the "good old days" of manipulating the masses.

I am not interested in arguments. Hell and heaven are real places and as I fear hell, I can honestly say that I want to be with God after this life.

God does not want anyone to choose hell, but if you bully yourself to hell, blame yourself. We are here for His purposes but you can deny it here. After this life we do not have a free will anymore.

Youre right, respect and fear are different but achieve similar effects. Fear only works because of the aftermath and respect works because it makes sense.
