just to relieve the tension...

Two Mexicans, Jose and Carlos, are begging for money at the freeway off ramp.

Jose drives a Mercedes, lives in a mortgage free house and has a lot of money to spend.

Carlos only brings in 2 to 3 dollars a day.

Carlos asked Jose "how do you manage to bring home a suitcase full of $10 bills every day? what's your secret?"

Jose says, "Look at your sign. It reads: I have no work, a wife & 6 kids to support"

Carlos looks at Jose's sign.

It read, "I only need another $10.00 to move back to Mexico"

I have to say I thought it was a pretty funny joke and no one should really take offense at it on either side of the fence (no pun intended). But I'm not really surprised that people do. We've always been the most prudish group of people on earth. Political correctness and looking for ways to be affronted are the way we react in this age like we reacted with embarrassed horror to piano legs and ankles in the Victoria era.

Funny, funny, funny !!

Having been panhandled by a professional - a man trying to get enough bus money to get home, with a baby in a stroller, who I later saw exiting a very expensive, well kept Victorian each morning, baby in tow, to lie and panhandle some more - I can really relate.

HEY, if you are comfortable with the term MEXICAN, call yourself that. Don't let the PC crowd infer that the term is a slur by insisting it not be used. There is a lot to be proud of in being of Mexican descent and you are in a great position to stand up for it.

In all humor there is kennel of truth, the joke is funny on on different levels. There is the old standing joke about the city slickers being our smarted by the country bumpkin. This country bumpkin is literally from another country. Then there is the honest hard working guy being out smarted by the scam artist. But all and all this is a funny joke

My brother sent that one to me via email. Thought it was funny then. On here though, and take no offense with my comment here. It gives too many an idea to do the same and take advantage of more people. That I don't find funny. Just so you know, and understand the polar opposite.

I still think you're a good kid Sergio. Even if we disagree on a lot of things. But not all things.

I admit its funny, but only other races beg for money. Mexicans work for a living! You never see mexicans on the side of the road asking for money. Am I right or am I right?

I think it's funny. I'm a Mormon and laugh at Mormon jokes too.

Go ahead and laugh. It's cheap entertainment and it feels good.

LOL... that is funny... however... in an arena like this where everyone is so sensitive and can't laugh at anything anymore I think you might be looking to take a beating here...
