Has anyone booked flights with Southwest Vacations? Should I have bought travel protection? Can I add that, even after I already booked the flight and hotel? There's a button at the bottom that says "Click here to add or change this reservation."

Southwest Vacations are good. You should always take insurance because if some goes wrong, you can get stuck either having to pay more money or losing all of your money. You can buy insurance after you have made a full payment on the package. What you can do is go to some other insurance companies and buy insurance through them. Like AIS/Travel guard or Mutual of Omaha, they both have travel insurance for tours.

Travel protection is easy and inexpensive. You can do it through the southwest site or use any of dozens of other Travel insurance companys. Have fun digging through the insurance sites. There sure are a lot of them.
