What for? You lie all the time. Everyone does. However, it depends on the lie and if the lie was intended to harm you in some way.

Yes, yes, and yes! A relationship is NOTHING without trust, and if that trust is broken, not only does it take a while to build back up, but it makes the whole relationship rocky. I foundout that my boyfriend lied to me about ALOT of things. I thought "it's ok.. we can still make it work" but now that we're broken up I see that it's for the better. Even though its hard at first it's totally worth it.. because no one deserves to be lied to by some one that care about

I guess it all depends on what he's lying about. But in reality lying in general is a big reason to break up. A big thing in a relationship is trust. And when a person lies they instantly break the trust. So maybe you should break up with him because you really shouldn't be with someone you dont trust.

Yes, there is never an excuse for lieing. I wish I had taken this advice with the very first boyfriend I had, maybe I wouldn't be a single parent struggling to raise my kids alone today because of his lies.

My ex would lie to me all the time. I could never believe what he said. We broke up because of it. It caused me such heart ache and misery that I brought that baggage into my current relationship and it took me eight years to finally trust a guy again. So yes, break-up. Save yourself the hassle both now and in the future.

no. dont break up with him but try to talk to him about it. tell him how u feel and why u dont like it when he lies. lying harms a relationship.
