All airlines and most corporate aircraft have an extender available for just that reason. It is just and add on to the seat belt that allows it to fit for larger people.

Most airlines offer seat belt extenders. You just ask the flight attendant if you need one and she will discreetly bring one to you. You can also purchase seat belt extenders online, to bring on the plane with you.

if it is too small, they can give you an extender, too big, I dunno
