Something like...

Dear Mr. God.
Thank you for the food that has been prepared for us
Please bless it that it may nourish and strengthen our bodies and do us the good we need
InTheNameofCheeseAndRice amen

Is it written in one of the scripture that this is supposed to be recited at each meal?

Or the shortened condensed version

Dear Mr. God
Thank you for the food
Please Bless It
InthenameofCheeseandRice amen

Is there a rule about when and how to use these prayers?

Let’s count

Set prayers: Sacrament and a few others.

Repetitive prayers: Food prayers, night prayers, family prayers, pulpit prayers, and Millions times Zillions of other prayers.

Hymns: 3 per Sabbath.

Sincere prayers: 1, and they all say the same thing, God is Mormonism true?

Cheese and Rice, as I've said before, you've obviously got an ax to grind with the church from your stream of other posts, but I'll bite anyway, assuming that you're not just being a self-righteous smart-aleck.

We are told throughout scriptures (Bible and latter-day scripture) in what manner to pray, but not specifically what to say. The Lord's Prayer is a great example of that template. That goes for mealtime, before bed, etc. There is no template for mealtime prayers.
The main exception to that are ceremonial prayers such as blessing the sacrament (communion or eucharist, depending on your faith) and a few other ceremonial prayers, such as baptism.

Nope. There is no scripture that says you have to pray it a specific way. But generally the point of praying before meals is to bless the food.. which is why we say something along the lines of blessing the food.... but you can pray it anyway you want to pray it.

The only prayers that have to be said, word for word, the same way each time are the prayers of the Sacrament, and the baptism prayer.
