I don't mean just a verse or two that happens to be germane to the discussion at hand. No, I mean you Holy Spammers who cut and paste several dozen verses that have nothing to do with the topic. Most people, be them religious or not, do exactly the same thing, merely for the fact that it is easier to let the words of another person fight for their own beliefs to justify their choices, because they either lack the will power to fight for what they personally believe to be true, or think that what someone else has originally said echoes their thoughts and sentiments exactly.

Because religion is a method of brainwashing. And one of the things that brainwashing does to you is it takes away your ability to have original thoughts.
