Actually, yes, I've seen atheists challenging both Islam and Hinduism, in addition to Christianity.

From my personal experience, Christians just seem to be more in-your-face about religion. I've never once had an attempted conversion by a Jew, Muslim, Hindu, Wiccan, Baha'i, or any other religion. However, I've had many Christians try and "save me," resulting in nothing but making me a bit angrier.
Truth be told, I only hack on the backs of those who start arguments. And you'd better believe I'd try to debunk a Jew, Hindu, Muslim, whatever, if they started shoving their beliefs down my throat.

Good question. Probably because most other religions don't make such a big deal about pushing their beliefs on other people (when was the last time a Jew or a Hindu knocked on your door on Sunday morning?) Also, most other religions don't have such a strong mandate to "spread the good word" and convert as many people as they possibly can. Basically most other religions leave other people alone. Finally, most other religions don't get involved in politics and don't try to pass laws based on their religious principles.
But that's just IMHO

Probably because you live in America where the predominant religion is Christianity. I'll bet there's plenty of atheists in India who rip on Hindus and quite a few atheists in Israel who sneer at Orthodox Jews.
Personally, I tend to question the basic sanity of ANYBODY who mindlessly believes what some Holy Book or Religious Authority Figure (TM) tells them...

Maybe the reason is that they are only giving back what they've been given for so long.
Tell me, when was the last time you heard a jew, pagan or hindu bash atheists and tell them they have no lives, deserve to die and go to hell, and every other depricating remark that comes out of so called christains proverbial mouths?
They have no reason to bash those who never bash them.

Christianity forces itself, interior the USA, to a place of ridicule via attempting to make rules that are per their faith, ignoring all different factors of view, and pushing their non secular doctrine into public colleges as though it have been fact quite of religion. I have not have been given any project with Christians believing what they like, as long as they save that concept to themselves. the project is that a competent style of Christians do no longer. As such, I actually have a perfect suited to wrestle the spreading of propoganda with logic and reason.

I think its because Christians, as a whole.. not all of us individually.. tend to be more judgemental and hell-bent on "saving" everyone.. without realizing it isn't us who "saves."
I don't necessarily believe you have to belong to a certain belief system to end up in Heaven.. or anything like that...
And no one bugs me simply on the basis of their religious beliefs, or lack of. I enjoy a stimulating conversation about what others and myself believe.. I prefer to stay out of debate.. I don't think debate and contention is beneficial to anyone when it comes to beliefs. You aren't going to "convert" someone by attacking their beliefs. I believe in answering questions and asking them, and gaining understanding.
I think the world would be a much better if everyone was more understanding and tolerant... focused on bettering themselves instead of worrying about what everyone else is doing

Because for the most part it's christians who try to force their beliefs onto us,whether in the street or through legislation.
Religious belief is a personal thing.Keep it that way please.

Because they are the only ones that bother us. They are the ones shoving the piece of Holy excrement down our throats.
