I would suggest you give clone golf clubs a look. Clone golf clubs are a great value for all golfers, can be ordered online and custom fit for you. Another option would be pre-owned golf clubs from eBay or Craigslist.

Go to a golf store to find out which clubs you like. Then go home and go on EBay. The clubs are the same quality and are always cheaper even with the shipping charges. I just bought a set of Callaway Fusions and got them for 500 bucks cheaper than they were at the NY Golf that is by my house.

You could get a cheap decent set of powerbuilt irons for 150 maximum at sport chek or any golf store like golf town. Woods are always cheap.

If I were you, I would check into getting knock-off brands (copies of well-known brands) from a clubmaker. They are cheaper than the real deal and you can get them customized to fit your swing and height. As far as the pink goes, you could always get some pink grips for the clubs. This shouldn't be too difficult because your clubs will be built from scratch.
Other than that, you could always look at craigslist.org or in the classifieds and then have pink grips added on. Good luck!
As far as clubs from Wal-Mart, Kmart, etc., I would avoid these clubs at all costs unless you only plan to play one or two times. The "clubs" that they sell are made with the cheapest of staffs. A good fit and a good shaft are the most important traits of a good club.

Check your local Walmart. Our local Walmart has a complete set of Wilson's for women that come in a pink color scheme. They are under $200 and will get you started.
As for the first answer that was posted: That is bad advice. Avoid knockoff's. I really do not know why anyone would advise to using knockoffs. They are cheaper than the low priced clubs (brand name though) you can get in retail chain stores. Cheaper, meaning crap quality.
Why would anyone support such an industry!
