Both countries value male over female babies. With 200 million or so sexually frustrated men who can't find women in both countries there's gonna be trouble. The easiest way for rulers to solve the problem is have them kill each other off.

Cuz its will not happened for if u want that to happening, India must become the first to strike China & of course thats truly a blunder move while Pakistan still eyeing in India territory
With so many rival around India, its certainly not a good thing to start another conflict in another front
Maybe there are will be war in the future BUT of course not in the term of physically but maybe in term of economic & technology war
Population booming solution ?
Yeah, your solution are pratically right if its in the 50 BC era but in this era now, that population booming now became one of the strategically advantage that can help to rapidly attract many investor to invest in that country
So as long as the country law can still be established pretty strict, its no a truly big problem, at least for NOW
