Vrndavan is.

And Pure devotees have Vrindavan in their hearts. Govinda always rests in the hearts of his devotees.

Vrndavan is where His most intimate and sweet pastimes take place. All His best friends, His ma, baba, and all the cows also live there.

Wherever his dear devotees are discussing about His beautiful pastimes, also becomes Vrndavan.. :-)

Krsna never ever leaves Vrndavan.

Brinda in Sanskrit means Basil =Occimum sanctum-synonym is Tulasi--Vanam means forest(Van is an Hindi corruption)--"Forest of Tulasi herbs"is Brindavanam-In sanskrit B and V can be interchanged. It is in "Bhrij Bhoomi" on the banks of Yamuna River.Brij is derived from the root (Dhatup) "Bhr" from which other words like Bhargo and all derived.Brij means "extremely shining".sri.Radha and sri.Krishna loved each other in Brindavanam The My thology goes--that sri.Brinda (a womn) was a great devotee of lord Krishna -she asks and gets the boon from sri.Krishna that she should be converted to an aromatic herb and the garland of her laeves should adorn the chest of Lord sri.Krishna .The custom goes for thousands of years now. His dearest place is the minds of His true devotees.Later sri.Krishna had to flee Brindavanam with His Citizens due to constant agreession by Jarasandha father-in-law of Kansa(sri.Krishna's maternal uncle) and settled down for south in Gujarat in Dwaraka-the original city is now under the Araabian sea ..
