Jake, you are absolutely right when you blame the Devil. You can use the book of Job as an example. Job went through worse things than your friend's current problems. He thought that God was doing these bad things to him, but the Bible clearly mentioned that it was the Devil. The Devil was trying to break Job's integrity to God, but he failed. The Devil's method of bringing distress and pain to people has not changed. We always blame God for all the problems caused by the Devil.

It sounds like your friend is blaming Jesus Christ for the evil deeds committed by man. Jesus has always taught that deeds, good or bad, are chosen by man himself, including society as a whole. She is distraught because things are not going well for her. She needs answers, and want those answers to be delivered to her directly by God. The answers she seeks do exist. They are found within the self. She may not ,in the end choose to be an atheist. But if she does, she may change her tune later in life, when she realizes that Eternity is just one last breath away. Good luck with your friend. And tell her that God loves her, even if she doesn't believe in him, because that is what God does. He loves, without condition, everyone.

You are basically asking why is there so much bad stuff in the world. There is sin in the world, and the wages of sin is death. Sometime bad things happen because someone chooses the wrong path- other times it happens just because there's sin in the world. The Bible says the world is groaning to be set free. God told Adam and Eve that if they ate of the fruit of the tree, (that is, disobeyed His one and only command) they would die. When they did, sin entered the world. The only reprieve we have from that is through faith in Christ. He told us that in this world, we would have tribulations- so that doesn't the bad things would stop, because sin hasn't been eradicated from the earth yet. But at least we can have hope in the after life with Him.

She is grieving right now. She's obviously feeling a lot of pain over her losses and wants to know why would God permit these things to happen.
Be supportive of her. Help her to deal with the terrible losses in her family. You could even explain that it's perfectly okay to feel whatever she's feeling. People need to grieve.
Tell her that God does not kill innocent people. Whatever the reason for someone's death, it is sin that kills people (drunk drivers, for example). We get sick and we die. That's the nature of our lives right now. Assure her, though, that her cousins are with Jesus now. They are in all the joy and happiness of heaven. Pray with her. Ask Jesus to help her through her pain, and to fill her with His peace. Pray for her cousins, that they are in the glory of God, happy and smiling down on her. Pray for her aunt also. You'd be suprised how much this really helps.
God bless and take care.

First of all, just pray for her, that God will open up her heart to ther truth. Also, have other Christians that you know pray for her. God's word says that if any of you on earth shall agree about anything (in prayer) it shall be done! God is a just God and chose from the begining of time to give us free will. He didn't want us to be robots. Unfortunatly with that comes the free will of people and the ability to choose sin, ect. Life is not easy, but God loves us dearly and will not give us anything we can't handle. In hard times, He wants us to cling to Him and trust Him that He will work out all things that Satan tried to destroy, for the good of His people. I hope this has helped alittle. The biggest thing like I said though is to lift her up in prayer. Prayer is one of the most powerful tools we have as God's children, and prayer will change peoples hearts. She is just really hurting right now. I hope this has helped. Take care!

This is very personal, but I feel compelled to share it with everyone who wants to read it. .......I was raised Luthern. This religion did not answer my many questions. I explored many other religions, & still didn't find what I was seeking. I stopped praying when my mother died from breast cancer about 12 years ago. She not only had peolpe in the church praying for her, but people in the network all over the world! I know what you Christians will say......we asked & he said NO. She had one man (my father) her entire life, didn't smoke, would have a drink on Christmas, devoted her life to he church & helping others. WHY?????

Many people blame God for their misfortune, If they didn't believe in God, then why do they blame him in the first place. Their is a reason for everything and it was just their time to Go, God is still a just God and knows what he is doing. Pray for her and continue to talk to her.

The Devil and God are both fake! She just believes that this is true human nature, which it is. You have no right to try and convert her. You are being intolerant and arrogant which goes against the bible, ya, I didn't capitalize it.

God is not the author of death. Satan is. Death came into existence after sin was created.
As somebody who lost their dad recently, I'll be praying for your friend.
