When you figure it out, let me know! I have been looking for a job for a couple of months and I feel just like you. I know there is a lot of discrimination out there. It looks to me like all of the companies are giving all the jobs to college kids. This in my opinion is a form of discrimination. One thing we can't do is give up. We have to keep praying and looking, something has to work out. I am sure you are just like me, you have bills and family to support. Pray for me and I'll pray for you.

i work at employment office, and even though you may be qualified, it's all about answering questions in a way that they will be interested. for example, when you go into the interview, make sure u understand the company your applying to, the background of the company, from that, you should be able to answer the questions in a way that fits with their standard. but yeah good luck though. keep trying. personality in a person is also important. the minor things can be a plus point.

there might be something else about you that makes them uncomfortable. companies don't just hire based on experiences and education (though a big factor) a part of it is how the new employee works well with others. That's why they do interview along with the resume. and If they feel that you're arrogant and won't take directions well then they won't hire you.

Try volunteering or internships to proove your abilities. Also remember that no matter how skilled you are, finding a job is always about selling, and the product is you.
Your attitude towards your potential employers should the same as that of a Salesman to his customer.
Now, would you buy anything from a Salesman who thinks you are ignorant ?

Companies look for candidates who are a "fit" to the company. You may possess the qualities necessary to do the job, but if you don't have the persona and exhibit the energy and elocution they are looking for, they still will not hire you.
It has nothing to do with ignorance. You don't fit the model they have of an employee with their company.

Ask yourself if your handshake was to clammy and weak; do you have bad breath or smell; did i sound too aggressive or indecisive; did i make good eye contact and sit up straight; did i overpower the interview and have the necessary skills. If you did the right things then answer this question, why do you want to work for someone that doesn't appreciate good talent? They aren't worth it.

make sure that your not coming off cocky and smug...cause that statement sounds like your blaming everyone else for your problems..if you were qualified it would show on paper so you must be doing something to turn people off during the interview-you can be confident with a little humility

If they're ignorant about you, then educate them about you. Or at least educate the next interviewer about you. Do you believe that they are discriminating against you by (height/weight/color/age/etc.)?

Keep trying. There's lots of work out there. Besides, maybe they're not ignorant, maybe there are other reasons, reasons they're not telling you.

it depends on which field your.But in some fields you can try to work for some firm which can expose you to your future clients.You do not have to begin high .Also try to spy and know what exactly leads to that air of ignorance
