Choice A was a guess a few thousand years ago, choice B is based on scientific evidence...

Gotta go with B.

The theory of theological evolution suggests that God created humans when he infused an intellective soul into a primate that was formerly an animal. Thus the "clump of dirt" actually refers to the matter of the world in an animal form. It is possible to accept both evolution and creation, which is great when one realizes that (a) we are undoubtedly related to animals in some way and (b) the universe and life in their original forms could not have spontaneously come into existance and therefore must have been created

i thought the first life was in the water, not the dirt. i guess i have to go with the old common-ancestor-with-primates thing. i mean, what else is there that makes any kind of sense?

Evolution goes a lot farther back than the primates. It starts out with molecules. None of your options is rational to meet the requirements of evolution. Especially the rib.

Definitely a dirt and the rib...Why put any faith into all this scientific mumbo jumbo stuff and lets believe a 4000 + year old story that I'm sure is still in its original form after all this time.

First source was nucleic acids and cell membranes, dirt, primates and ribs came much later.

I would say a common ancestor with primates.

We didn't "evolve" from a clump of dirt and a rib, or a monkey ancestor. We were CREATED by God.

Created in the dirt and inspired by the rib.

No evolving from monkey's not near likely.

I am a spiritual christian (not religious, there is a difference)
However with the question stating "most likely" then I'd have to go with the monkeys, but I have faith and believe that God created man. People love to tell christians that they've been brainwashed but many fail to realize that darwin confessed his theory was wrong at his deathbed and people still believe in it. Funny huh?

Other primates - no question. I can think of a few people who seem to have been derived from a clump of dirt (or other ground droppings), though. ;-)
