Can I take liberal arts in the Air Force just to get most of the credits out of the way until I decide what I want to major in?

I want to decide what to major in once I cross train into the job I really want 3 years after joining.

You can get your major in what ever you want. As for accepting credits from other universities and colleges, that is up to the university or college you plan on attending.

As for cross training, you can only cross-train if the field you want is under-manned and the field you are currently in is over-manned or at manning. They aren't just going to let you cross train because you want to or because you are working on a specific degree. They spend too much money training you to just let you change jobs whenever the mood strikes.
