if you dont care about your health neither will i.
why its not healthy? because you do NOT lose fat that way - all you lose by depriving yourself is water weight and muscle and slow down your metabolism.
to lose fat you have to create just a slight deficit in your daily caloric intake. and do cardio 4-6 times a week for average of 45min plus light weight training a few times a week.

I think you wouldn't lose anything because you would eventually eat. Crackers turn to sugar therefore your appetite will actually increase. Don't you remember the story's about how if you don't behave and have to go to jail that they only will give you bread and water. That's because bread which is like crackers turns to sugar and all you want is something to eat. Why diet if all you'll want to do is eat. I have lost 50lbs by eating normal and lean foods, my best secret is that when I have a plate of food in front of me that I eat the lowest calories foods like vegetables first and if I'm at a restaurant take the rest home for later. If you starve the body, it will shut down and go into starvation mode to attempt survival and while it's doing this it is saving all your calories and not releasing them. You must eat to lose it's that simple.

Have fun doing it....it may not get you very far. Let's analyze this. Water burns approximately 40 calories per 8 ounce glass of ice-cold water (because your body needs to heat it up). That part of your diet is good. It's the cracker part you have to worry about. Depends on how many crackers you eat. If you eat alot, bring on the carbohydrates. carbs are an essential part of your diet so I'm proud of you for not thinking about eating lettuce. Carbs give you enery....too many (more than you can burn off) build up as fat. If you eat too little then you're body will starve, weight loss will decrease, your body will begin eating not only your fat storage but also muscles such as you heart. So, have fun eating crackers and water...I'm not sure you're going to get very far...you'd be ALOT better off exercising and eating foods low in carbs and high in protein.

Not that it's very unhealthy, but stupid, too! Do your crackers contain the daily intake of vitamins that a healthy meal would provide? If so, please, I want to know the brand! Come on, think a little! And not only this, but crackers contain salt. Consuming salty foods makes the body retain water and you're going to end up gaining, not losing weight. Geez..

Have you ever thought about a little something called scurvy? No? Okay, then. How about anemia? That ringing a bell?

Well, if you want to keel over and die withing the next few months, then be my guest and eat your crackers. However, if you want to lose weight and live to tell about it, then I suggest eating *healthy* food in *moderation.* That, my friend, excludes fast food. Exercising wouldn't be a bad idea, either.

I did something similar years ago. In 2 wks I was in the hospital. The best way to lose weight is to eat 6 small portions a day (this raises your metabolism and burns fat), exercises, lots of water. No one can tell you how much weight you will lose. Everyone is different. P.S. To burn calories you need a certain calorie intake for your height and weight.

Hey darlin. It is unrfortunate that you feel you have to go to such drastic measure to lose weight. Everything everyone has told you is true. It is very dangerous and unhealthy! I used to be like you and try starving myself but I could only last about a week, lose say 5 kilos then I would start eating again and put it all plus more on!!! Very frustrating!!!

I have written a guideline of everything I tell my clients to do which actually works! (I am a personal trainer). Follow this and you will get down to a healthy weight. It may take a few months or it may take a year but start right now!!!!

You should aim to do 40-60minutes of weight training 4 times a week and add in a couple of walks/jogs in between. Get some dumbells (5kgs) and do 3 sets of 6-8 exercises x 15reps. For example:

15 x chest press (With weights)
15 x Lunges (With weights)
15 x Pushups
15 x Squats (With weights)
15 x Bicep Curls (With weights)
15 x Burpees
(Do all of the above 3 times - If you get bored of these email me I can give you hundreds more!)

Then do crunches, some oblique twists and transverse holds (plank ) for abs and core stability.

Aim to do weights for 40minutes 3-4 times a week. Make sure you give your muscles a rest in between. Go for runs on the days you dont do weights (Aim for atleast 30 minutes of running). It has been proven in many studies that the best way to lose fat is to weight train. Every pound of muscle you gain increases your metabolism which burns more calories. Weight training also has an after burn effect which means that more calories are burned throughout the day whereas doing only cardio will only burn fat during your workout time. So weight train weight train weight train!!!!! This is the best advice I can give to everyone. If you are a woman you will not get bulky as you do not have enough testosterone in your body to build big muscles. You will just turn your body into a slim, lean, toned fat burning machine!!! Men will definitely build muscle mass depending on the amount they lift!

Also never ever give yourself a time limit. Make a commitment to do this the rest of your life. Too many people go on training/dieting benders for a couple of weeks then give up once they hit their goal. Doing everything I reccomended will give you awesome reults but there is no miracle quick fix to losing weight. Believe me I have tried everything! Losing weight quickly is unhealthy, unachieveable and never easily maintained. Although it would be nice to click our fingers and make the fat go away it'll never happen!

Drink looooaaaadddsss of water. Dont drink nothing. Water is your best friend when losing weight as it fills you up, reduces your appetite and keeps you hydrated.

For your food intake eat loads of vegetables, fruit, nuts, chicken, fish, brown rice, brown bread, lentils. Cut out all highly processed high carbohydrate sugary foods. Also try to avoid foods high in saturated fat. Try not to go over about 1500calories. Always go for low G.I!

I hope this helps anyone who is trying to lose weight. Believe me weights are a girls (and guys) best friend :)

just crackers and water is scary. there are healthier ways to diet. Why not just get some exercise? join in on sports, walk, jog, play tennis, ride your bike, run in place, etc. and eat healthy or you'll fall over.

fine, do it. consider yourself warned.
